The company’s production process required key deliverables from a team of individuals, at a specific point in time, and there was no standard process or guideline to ask the teams to follow. Each step required repetitive manual follow up, it was inefficient, unorganized, and often resulted in unnecessary delays.
I documented the process, identified owners and established timelines. The first phase involved managing each product as a separate project in Asana. As we grew, I worked with our CTO to transfer the process into our technology platform, resulting in a customized workflow which guides teams through the process, contains a central repository for all documents and allows the team to easily identify where each project is in the pipeline.
